PARIS has been shaken by a shooting this evening in Corbeil-Essonnes with reports of at least “two dead”.

The two bodies were in central view of the public in Corbeil-Essone.
There are reports of a shooting in a suburb of Paris called Corbeil-Essones, which is in the south of the capital of France.
At around 6pm, a man in his thirtes has reported to have killed his companion before turning the gun on himself in the centre of the street.
The shooting happened in the centre of Corbeil-Essones on Thursday evening.
Police are at the scene of the Paris incident.
The gunshots were heard in the streets sparking fear in the community.
Police are on the scene as the drama unfolds.
The French media reports are that a man killed his wife before turning the gun on himself.
Corbeil-Essones is a suburb in south Paris.
Paris is on high alert after various terrorist attacks across the country this year.
The country has plans to put the Eiffel Towel behind an eight foot-high glass wall to protect it from terrorists following an attack at the Louvre.
In the last two years, 238 people have died in France due to jihadists attacks.
