It comes as it can be revealed just 18 out of 57 Muslim majority world states have signed up to a coalition against ISIS.

The UK’s permanent representative to the UN, Matthew Rycroft, delivered a strongly worded speech blasting what he called “evil groups” and saying not enough is being done.

The comments came as the UN general assembly supported a plan by the Islamic Development Bank to invest £7.2bn to tackle the cause of terror.

      • Based on this from Wikipedia, seems likely that nobody knows the true %age:

According to a 2009 Pew survey, 75% of Nigeria’s population were Muslims.[14] A later Pew study in 2011 estimated that Christians now formed the majority of the nation, comprising 50.8% of the population likely due to Christian’s high fertility in Nigeria, while Muslims comprised 47.9%.[15][16]Adherents of other religions make up 1.4% of the population.[17]

      • It’s common. In India, for example, they’ve been claiming for 50 years that their muslim population is “14%”. It absolutely not 14%. Muslims rapidly double their population by having an enormous number of children.

    • Just 18 of the 57 member states, with a collective population of over 1.6 billion – that makes up the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation which was founded in 1969 – are members of the Global Coalition against Da’esh.

The Muslim countries signed up are:

      Albania
      Egypt
      Libya
      Morocco
      Nigeria
      Somalia
      Tunisia
      Bahrain
      Iraq
      Jordan
      Kuwait
      Malaysia
      Lebanon
      Turkey
      Oman
      Qatar
      Saudi Arabia
      United Arab Emirates

However, we doubt the genuineness of some of these countries in their real desire to fight terrorism since they are the main funding source of terror around the world.
