His oldest son Abdullah Ellababidi, who was unhappy with the family situation, is said to have run away to look for a new life, leaving his father furious.

He recorded the video before reportedly urging friends and relatives to show it to the runaway son.

The picture show the 12-year-old son crying on the floor and begging for mercy.

But he shows none, and insists that the boy keep still and keep his legs in the air so he can beat him with the hosepipe.

In the video, he can be heard saying: ‘I will send this video to Abdo. If he doesn’t like it, I will beat you again and send him a new video to see if he likes that one.’

Despite the 12-year-old’s pleas, the man carries on. He is said to have sent copies of the video to neighbours and family saying: ‘Go and show this video to Abdo.’

Police have confirmed they are investigating and say that the father and his family had arrived in Turkey from Syria in 2014.

  1. I wonder why the eldest son ran away… ¬¬ I feel so sorry for the 12 year old kid! A father should protect a child.

Muslim men are so coward! They can’t talk nor explain their ideas, they’re always beating and beheading themselves.
