U.S. Immigration Director Saldaña: ‘We don’t obey the law, we obey Obama’

President Obama wants what he wants when he wants it. When a federal judge issued an injunction forbidding him to go ahead with his unconstitutional amnesty plans, a ticked off, defiant president showed up at Florida International University in Miami. In an MSNBC/ Telemundo townhall hosted by Jose Diaz-Balart in February 2015, the President warned ICE officials and border patrol agents there “will be consequences” for those who do not obey his orders.

Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (with the new silly name ICE to remove the word ‘alien’) Sarah Saldaña took part in a Wednesday hearing of the Congressional Budget Committee in which she responded to questions about some of the agency’s employees not feeling safe on what laws they should follow and what laws they should ignore.

The background is that the White House issued a directive on more relaxed handling of deportations, which are contrary to U.S. migration laws. These new measures are meant to delay the deportation of “non-priority” illegal immigrants.

“If I gave the instructions or directives that went against the law, I would understand if they did not want to follow them,” said Republican Congressman David Young during the hearing.

He got no support from the Government Chief.

– “This is where you and I have a fundamentally different view,” said Sarah Saldaña and laid out the directive from the White House that apply to the rules, no matter what the law says.

Extract from Obama’s threat against ICE agents:

Jose Diaz-Balart: How do you insure that ICE and border patrol agents won’t be deporting people like this? What are the consequences

Obama: The bottom line is if somebody’s working for ICE and there’s a policy and they don’t follow the policy there are going to be consequences to it. So I can’t speak to a specific problem.

What I can talk about is what’s true in the government generally. In the U S military when you get an order, you’re expected to follow it. It doesn’t mean that everybody follows the order. If they don’t, they’ve got a problem and the same is going to be true with respect to the policies that we’re putting forward.

  1. See, we already owe something to the Indians. The Cherokee, the Iroquois, the Cheyenne. The ones who were in the contiguous US already.

We don’t owe anything at all to illegal aztecs or mayans. There is no reason why we should allow mexico to dump 1/3 or more of its people here. Who use welfare at something like 63% even when here illegally.

There’s no reason why we should allow family reunification either which allows anchor babies after a successful game of red rover with immigration enforcement to bring in every last grandparent, fourth cousin, aunts and uncles legally. Who all have the ability to use welfare.

Meanwhile our Indians do not get access to welfare, because they’re on the reservation system.

Whenever I go anywhere I always see at least one group of hispanics all speaking to each other only in Spanish. I never see a single Amerindian.
